Utah is a great place for Owen to, "...continue skiing for fun, maybe a bit of racing, and maybe a bit of big mountain, too!" On what JHSC has taught Owen he says, "A good competitive edge and having fun!" Program Director Collin Rehm says, “Congratulations to Owen Strand on his graduation from Jackson Hole High School! Owen joined Freeride after a strong career as an Alpine racer. He quickly became a leader among his peers and had success competing in Freeride, Slopestyle and Skiercross disciplines. We’re sad to see Owen leave JHSC Freeride (@jhscfreerideprogram), but very excited to see him succeed at the University of Utah.”
