Patrick grew up in Louisiana (mostly New Orleans) and saw snow there twice! After graduating from university, he left Louisiana to pursue a Finance/Risk Management related career in the Washington DC region where he started alpine skiing. He loved it and started skiing at as many resorts as he could in North America, Europe, and Chile. In order to improve his skiing, he started part-time Alpine instruction at Liberty Mountain in Pennsylvania in 2009. In 2013 he retired from the Finance career, moved to Jackson WY, and became an Alpine ski instructor at JHMR. Since then he has also been working on Nordic and backcountry snow sports to round out his winter pursuits. He continues to strive on improving all the technical aspects of his Alpine skiing performance. Outside of snow sports, Patrick is passionate about bicycling and reclamation within the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem (Greater Yellowstone Coalition Board member).
