Ian learned to ski on the steep icy slopes of Suicide Six in central Vermont. He went on to race at Holderness School in New Hampshire. Upon finishing college he was in search of the best place to ski and ended up in Jackson Hole. He began coaching as a U10 coach his first winter, attempting to provide local kids with the same fun and appreciation for skiing that he had as a kid in Vermont.

Raced at the USSA level for 9 Years.
Coaching for the JH Ski and Snowboard Club for 5 years

BA in Studio Art and Outdoor Studies From St. Lawrence University
