Assistant Nordic Program Director and Nordic Coach
Bria grew up in Truckee, California where she enjoyed time as a freeride skier and
Nordic competitor. She raced for Sugar Bowl Academy and Far West as a junior at both a
local and national level. Later, Bria attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, where
she Nordic skied at the Division 1 level for three of her four years while studying
Ecology, Economics, and Spanish. She also acted as an assistant coach for Sugar Bowl
Ski Team and Academy as well as the Bates Nordic team during her college years.
After graduating Bates College, Bria worked as an outdoor adventure leader for
Backroads Inc. in southwest Utah and northern California. She joins the Jackson Hole Ski
Club in 2018/2019 winter as an assistant coach for the Junior Nordic team.
Bria has trained under and worked for several coaches adopting a wide array of
philosophies that have enhanced her knowledge and understanding of being both an
athlete and a coach.
