Al Clausen

U14 Head Coach

I have been in the Tetons for the past 12 years.  My wife Cynthia and my oldest son Sam moved to Teton Valley Idaho from Seattle in 2005 when Sam was 1.  We are now a family of four after Gus joined us in 2006. I have always loved the mountains and skiing and knew after 12 years as a community college biology teacher it was time to come back to the mountains.  Both my boys are ski racers with the club and we are a ski racing family. Coming back to the mountains made me realize how much I missed coaching and ski racing. I jumped in with both feet with the Teton Valley Ski Education Foundation and have since moved on to Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club.  I am excited to be a part of this amazing club and look forward to another year exploring this amazing sport with the youth of the club.
