Trail Creek Pass Purchase

Thanks to collaborative partnership between Trail Creek Ranch, the Seiffert Family and the United States Forest Service, members of our community have the unique opportunity to use the Trail Creek Nordic Training Facility. All entities have separate restrictions and needs that users must abide by to continue skiing here.

Individual $300 Family $500 JHHS Nordic Team $225 Day-use $15

To purchase your 2020-2021 Trail Creek pass, complete the form below, select your pass type and proceed to check-out.  

Season pass holders must abide and agree to the following stipulations:

1) This is a Club -not a service- we will do our best to provide great skiing, but in purchasing this pass - you are agreeing to provide help in fall and spring clean up, youth races, and other Club functions.
2) You understand that a portion of the Nordic Training Facility is on private property and we respect the property rights of those who allow us to use their land, free of charge. You must stay on marked trails, and make no changes to any property without direct permission of the Nordic Program Director.
3) Parking is only on the left side of the Old Pass Road-past the first house and leaving space for vehicle pull out from the new driveway.
4) You agree to be aware of the driveway crossing as you enter the trail system, and you will cross the driveway with caution.
5) You must respect the cabin, the contents, and the Club and athlete equipment.
6) You are aware that this Nordic Training Facility is for DAYLIGHT use only.
7) You display your Trail Creek Pass every time you ski.
8) Dog walkers and snow-shoers, please stay off designated skier tracks.

The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club is an Authorized Permittee of the Bridger-Teton National Forest and an Equal Opportunity Provider. To use the trail system on the US Forest you must accept the US Forest Service Acknowledgement of Risk.

US Forest Service Acknowledgement of Risk

I recognize that there are risks inherent in any adventure, sport, or activity associated with the outdoors. On behalf of my heirs, legatees and myself, I specifically acknowledge the risks and dangers inherent in Nordic skiing and have I been informed of and have independently investigated in the risks associated with Nordic skiing. For myself, my heirs and legatees, I understand that the risks inherent in Nordic skiing include, but not are not necessarily limited to the following:

1. The nature of the activities themselves, skiing, racing, training and travel and any combination thereof;

2. Acts or omissions or negligence of any kind or nature whatsoever by the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its agent or employees, its officers or directors, or other persons or entities acting on behalf of the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club;

3. The acts of other participants in these activities, including but not limited to Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club members;

4. Weather conditions;

5. Contact with plants or animals;

6. My own physical condition, or my acts or omissions;

7. The condition of roads, trails, waterways, or terrain, and accidents connected with their use and the use of vehicles of approach including, but not limited to, land vehicles, aircraft, fixed and rotary wing;

8. First-aid, emergency treatment or other services rendered;

9. Consumption of food or drink; and

10. Encounters with snow grooming equipment.

I understand that the above list is not exhaustive or complete, and that other risks, known or unknown, identified or unidentified, may also result in injury, death, illness or disease, or damage to my property. I understand that injuries from the risks associated with Nordic Skiing may include mental or physical injuries or even death.

Therefore, I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and/or to members of my family, or for loss or damage to myself, my family members and guests and our personal property and expenses thereof as a result of my family members or guests participating in Nordic skiing.

I have read, understand, and accept the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this Acknowledgement of Risk shall be effective and binding my heirs, my legatees and myself during the entire period any of us engage in Nordic skiing at the Trail Creek Nordic Training Facility.

PRIVATE PROPERTY AGREEMENT

Release and Discharge, Acceptance of Responsibility and Acceptance of Risks

THIS AGREEMENT BELOW AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH CHECKOUT.

I, the registrant, being above 18 (or the legal guardian of the above named person if that individual is under 18) in consideration of participating in events sponsored or organized in any way by the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its employees, officers, subcontractors, insurers and members, from any claims or causes of action of any kind or nature whatsoever caused or occasioned by my participation in such event or activities. This release and indemnification Agreement is binding on me, my heirs, my parents or guardians, my successors and assigns, my personal representatives, and my estate as follows:

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

I understand and acknowledge that the activities in which I am participating and which I voluntarily engage in bear certain risks that could result in injury, death, illness, or disease. These injuries could be physical or mental, or could consist of damage to my property. Among these risks are the following:

1. The nature of the activities themselves, skiing, racing, training and travel and any combination thereof;

2. Acts or omissions or negligence of any kind or nature whatsoever by the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its agent or employees, its officers or directors, or other persons or entities acting on behalf of the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club;

3. The acts of other participants in these activities, including but not limited to Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club members;

4. Weather conditions;

5. Contact with plants or animals;

6. My own physical condition, or my acts or omissions;

7. The condition of roads, trails, waterways, or terrain, and accidents connected with their use and the use of vehicles of approach including, but not limited to, land vehicles, aircraft, fixed and rotary wing;

8. First-aid, emergency treatment or other services rendered;

9. Consumption of food or drink;

10. Boarding or use of chair lifts, gondolas, trams, or other mechanized means of transportation for the purpose of access to terrain.

I understand that the above list is not exhaustive or complete, and that other risks, known or unknown, identified or unidentified, may also result in injury, death, illness or disease, or damage to my property.

RELEASE

I understand and acknowledge that by initialing and signing this document I have given up certain valuable legal rights and/or possible claims which I might otherwise assert or maintain against the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its agent or employees, its officer and directors, and other persons or entities, including its members, including, but not limited to, rights arising from the acts or omissions and negligence of any kind or nature whatsoever of the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its agent or employees, and all persons or entities.

I understand and agree that any legal disputes arising out of this agreement is to be adjudicated under the laws of the State of Wyoming in a Wyoming court.

It is further understood and agreed that, if any court should vacate or strike any portion of this agreement, such actions shall not affect any other portion of the agreement.

THIS RELEASE INCLUDES SPECIFICALLY, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE OR ACTS OR OMISSIONS ON THE PART OF THE JACKSON HOLE SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB, ITS AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES, ITS OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS, ITS MEMBERS, OR ANYONE ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE JACKSON HOLE SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB.

I further agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its agents and employees, its officers and directors, its members, from any claims or causes of action of any kind or nature whatsoever caused or occasioned by my participation in events sponsored by or organized by in whole or in part by the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club.

I hereby agree not to maintain any cause of action of any kind or nature whatsoever against the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, and agree to indemnify the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club for any damages, including attorney's fees and costs occasioned by any action prosecuted on my behalf against the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, its agents or employees, its officers and directors, or its members.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

I understand this agreement is the entire agreement between me and the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club and that it cannot be modified or changed in any way by the representations or statements of any employee or agent of the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club or by me.
