Mike McNamara

Freeski Shredders Coach

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Mike grew up skiing the North East. While attending the University
of Vermont trained at Stowe with the UVM Free Skiing Team. Following graduation he worked at the
Carrabasset Valley Academy located at the base of Sugarloaf, ME for a season before pursuing his
older brother to Jackson in search of high alpine powder.

Sport Specific Background, Experience, and Roles:
 Competed in USSA Moguls and Big Air during middle and high school
 Competed in USASA Slopestyle, Railjams, and East Coast Freeride events in college
 Coached for Green Mountain Academy in 2013-14
 Coached for CVA 2014-15
 Park Crew @ Sugarloaf, ME 2014-15
 JHMR MSS & Anomaly 2015-2017
